Arthur Edward JohnsonÂ"EdÂ"Ed was born on October 19, 1923 in Minneapolis, Minnesota and passed away on January 17, 2003 in Tacoma, Washington.He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend. . He was a retired Pierce Transit driver and a lifetime member of Fern Hill Lodge F. & A. M. #80. Ed was preceded in death by his parents and 2 sisters. He is survived by his wife of nearly 49 years, Doris, his children: Dale of Seattle, Barbara (Tim) Becker of Puyallup, Cheryl and Deanna both of Tacoma, 2 granddaughters: Jennifer Lynn and Rebecca Louise, and 2 grandsons: Timothy Adam Jr., and Daniel Edward. The family wishes to express their sincere thanks to St. Josephs Hospital (6A & 9A) and Orchard Park Convalescent Center for their support and care in EdÂ's final days.Funeral service will be held on Tuesday January 21, 2003 at 10:00 AM at the Mt. View Garden Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made in his memory to the American Heart Association.
