Arthemise (Pat) Rackleff
Pat passed away August 15, 2009 at the age of 93. She was born in Marshfield, OR in 1916, and married Angus (Gus) Rackleff in 1936. She lived in Europe, Japan, and many U.S. locations as a military wife. She lived in Lakewood, WA since 1960, and was a member of the St. Frances Cabrini church. She was a 15-year volunteer with the Red Cross at Madigan Army Hospital, also St. Clair Hospital for several years, and at the Lakewood Food Bank. Preceded in death by her loving husband of 54 years, Angus Rackleff, and all her siblings, 3 brothers and 2 sisters. Survived by sons George (Linda) Rackleff of Puyallup, WA, Brian Rackleff of Winlock, WA, 4 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren. Our entire family would like to thank the in-home caregivers, especially Debbie and Steve. Your love and dedication made Mom's last years full of life and love. Funeral service will be at Mountain View Funeral Home, Lakewood, WA, on August 20, 2009 at 1:00 P.M. at the Celebration of Life Center/Aspen Chapel. Burial will be in the Willamette National Cemetery, Portland, OR.
