Arnold Gerard Mattsen's Obituary
Arnie Mattsen age 62, a lifetime Tacoma resident passed away Friday September 7, 2018 in Tacoma. Born to Richard and Margaret Mattsen (Campbell), he was retired from the City of Tacoma and was a Catholic. Arnie is survived by his daughter Ashley L. Mattsen of Modesto, CA., three brothers David of Tacoma, Richard of Roy and by Ronald Mattsen, four sisters Mary Laverty of Lakewood, Alice Mattsen of McComb, Illinois, Margaret Parker of Alaska and Gloria Marshall of Michigan and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his parents and by two brothers Marty and Jimmy.
Arnie will be missed and is loved by his family and many friends. A celebration of life event for Arnie will be held at the VFW Hall on McKinley Ave. in Tacoma on Sunday October 7th from 1-4pm. In honor of Arnie's love for the Hawks, please come dressed in Seahawk attire if possible. The game will be televised there at 1:25.
