Arne C. Linnerud's Obituary
Arne C. Linnerud, age 64, passed away unexpectedly November 30, 2016 in Puyallup, Washington after a brief illness. Born in Jørpeland, Norway on February 17, 1952 to the parents of Otilie J. and the late Martin Linnerud.
Arne was active in the horse community and was known as a Christian, friend, announcer, horseman and a forever supporter of the beginning rider, no matter what discipline. His equine interests ranged from breeding, cutting horses, thoroughbred and quarter horse racing, reined cow horse, cutting sorting, fox hunting, polo, penning and reining.
Arne is survived by his loving Fiancé Glenna Wickett and her two children; Mother Otilie Linnerud; Brother Paul (Tami) Linnerud; Sisters Rita Linnerud, Irene (Richard) Westgard; 2 nieces and a nephew. Preceded in death by his father, Martin Linnerud.
Services for Arne will be held Friday, December 30, 2016. A Memorial Service at 10:00 a.m. in the Celebration of Life Center, Aspen Chapel. Inurnment to follow at Mountain View Funeral Home and Memorial Park, Lakewood, WA. Celebration of Life Service 1:00 p.m. at Rainier View Christian Church, Graham, WA.
Guests invited to attend one or all of the services, he would have been happy to just see you. I am encouraging you to please bring your Arne stories and any pictures to the Celebration of Life Gathering. Celebration of Life Ceremony will include lunch.
