Arne Harold Mathisen's Obituary
ARNE H. MATHISEN
Arne H. Mathisen, 88, died Friday, July 18, 2008 in Tukwila, WA. He was born in Superior, WI on June 25, 1920 to Harold and Mathilda (Wiksten) Mathisen.
Arne worked for 38 years as a Carman Oiler for the Burlington Northern Railroad until retiring in 1980. He enjoyed the times spent on Mt. Rainier with his brother Bob, his association with the Normana Choir and being a member of Mt. View Lutheran Church.
He is survived by two brothers, Ralph (Shirley) Mathisen of Tukwila and Arnold (Barbara) Mathisen of Ashland, WI; two sisters, Sylvia Wolcott of New Kent, VA and Corrine (Jim) Larson of St. Paul, MN; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 10:30 am, Wednesday, July 23, 2008 at Mountain View Memorial Park in Lakewood, WA. Memorial contributions can be made to: Community Food Bank/Community Center, 3505 122nd Avenue East, Edgewood, WA 98372.
