Armando Valentino "Blue" Best Sr.'s Obituary
Armando was born in Colon, Panama June 17, 1958, to parents Samuel Da Costa Best and Evelena Hall de Best (Whiting).
Armando graduated from Diocesan Academy of Christ Church Colon Panama in 1973 and received a Diploma in Diesel Automechanics from the Technical Institute of Colon in 1978. Armando joined the Army in January 1979 where he became a Radio Combat Section Chief. He served 2 tours in Korea,
May 9, 1979 he married Penny Wright, was sent to Garlstedt, Germany and he was sent to Operation Desert Storm. While in Germany their son Armando jr was born, and after Germany relocated to Ft Lewis WA and their son Andre was born. Armando worked as Security Guard 2 at Western State Hospital for 18 years and retired. Armando's enjoyed his family and audio visual electronics. Survivors are his wife Penny of 34 years, sons Armando jr (Layla), son Andre, Mother Evelina, Father Samuel, many brothers and sisters, and grandchildren Armando, Kyhani, Aalyah and Keleese.
Burial will be Monday July 12, 2021 2:30 PM at Mt Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent, WA.
