Arlene Popp's Obituary
Arlene (Parkhouse) Popp Of Lakewood, lost her courageous battle with cancer on January 18, 2012. Born December 9, 1937 to Leon and Clara Parkhouse, she was preceded in death by her son Mark in 1988. Survived by her husband of 53 years, Edward, son David, daughter Terri, sister Marian Nettleton, MI, and many special nieces, nephews, and family members. Arlene served in the U.S. Air Force, then as a civil servant Secretary to the Troop Commander at Madigan. She enjoyed family gatherings in Las Vegas, travelling, reading, gardening, shopping, and was an avid Seahawks, Mariners and Huskies fan. Services will be held Tuesday, Jan. 24, 2012, 11:00 am, at Mountain View Funeral Home with visitation prior to the service. Arlene's family wishes to express their appreciation to the doctors, nurses and staff at Madigan Army Hospital and Franciscan Hospice for their compassionate care.
