Arlene Sagen Hoveland's Obituary
Arlene was born the oldest of three girls on February 8, 1927 to Bjarne and Jensina Sagen. She was raised in Tacoma and in 1946, she married Willard (Bill) Hoveland. They had one son Stephen Christian, who passed in May of 2012. Also deceased are her husband Bill and sister Muriel Sagen. Arlene leaves behind her sister Shirley Knelleken, daughter-in-law Pamela Hoveland, grandson Christian Hoveland, several step-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews and "step-daughter" Janile Higuchi. Interment will be at Mountain View Memorial Park, and a memorial for her Saturday, August 27th at Bethany Lutheran Church- 26418 Mtn Hwy E, Spanaway- at 10:00 am.
