Antonia Montes-Gonzalez
Antonia (Toni) was born in Ponce, Puerto Rico on June 13, 1935. She married Luis Montes-Gonzalez, a career military man, who predeceased her in 1987. Prior to settling in Tacoma, they lived in several places throughout the United States and overseas. Toni enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family. She is survived by her daughter Evelyn, sons Luis Raul, Luis Vicente and Luis Antonio, and grandsons Michael, Justin and Trevor. She is also survived by a large extended family which includes brothers Vicente, Ramon, Felipe, Edwin and Harry, sisters Milagros, Angela, Sonia and Grisell, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Funeral arrangements at Mountain View Funeral Home include a viewing on Monday (11-24-2008) from 4:00 to 9:00 p.m., funeral service on Tuesday (11-25-2008) at 1:00 p.m. in the Garden Chapel, followed by a reception at the Celebration of Life Reception Center. We loved her so much and she will forever be with us in spirit.
