Anthony Smith's Obituary
Tony was born in Salford, England on September 14, 1947. He came to the United States with his mum as a young man. She was a nurse and came here to work with a family. He worked several different jobs until he came to Group Health where he worked for over 20 years. He enjoyed his work and working with his coworkers. He married the love of his life on April 24, 1988 in Tacoma, WA, where he lived with her and their youngest son. He loved camping with family and friends, he sang in the church worship team and he was involved with singing in the Living Nativity at Christmas time.
Tony went home to be with the Lord on February 1, 2018. He was at home with family and friends, peacefully in the arms of his wife. We know he is singing and worshiping with the angels in Heaven.
He is survived by his wife, Joanne Smith, her sister Sammi Pederson, her husband Gus, their children and four grandchildren. His children, Paul Smith, his wife Rosemary and their three children, his daughter, Julie Clark, her husband Jason and their two children and his son John Lennon Smith. He is also survived by his sister Joan Murch of Australia and brother Brian Smith of England, and many nieces and nephews. He was loved by his family and friends, he will be missed very much. Please celebrate his life with friends and your family.
