Anthony W. Blunck's Obituary
On December 14, 2022, Anthony Blunck went to be with our Lord and Savior. Anthony (Tony) William Blunck was born November 14, 1982, to Mark and Debbie Blunck in Tri-Cities WA. As a young child, Tony was the wild child of the family. He loved playing with friends and often pushing the boundaries of what he could get away with. Tony graduated from Rainier High School in 2001. In high school Tony played football and track and was always known as the class clown. After high school, he made the decision to serve our country in the US NAVY. In the US NAVY, Tony served on the USS Abraham Lincoln. He worked as an aircraft fuel man. Tony was nicknamed “Sunshine” in boot camp because of his big gapped toothed smile. In 2003, his big brother Curtis, joined Tony aboard the USS Abraham Lincoln and the two were able to serve in a war zone together. When his time in the NAVY was up, Tony went into construction and excelled at many different aspects of it. He ran his own company and always found a way to succeed. Tony had his first child, Gabriella, in 2007. Gaby was followed by Isabella (2010), Levi (2015) and Hudson (2020). The kids were the light of his life and his sole focus. There was never a time when Tony didn’t have one of his kids crawling on him or wrestling with him. As a grown man, Tony always pushed the boundaries of what he could get away with. He loved hunting, fishing, being on his boat and just being outside. He loved watching the Seahawks with his friends and family. His friends, fellow service men and women, family and even strangers all called him brother. To Tony, family was much more than just blood. Tony made so many people feel welcomed, and they quickly became family. Tony was the best of this world, and he will truly be missed. Rest well son, dad, brother, nephew, friend and hero. Tony is survived by daughter Gabriella Blunck, daughter Isabella Blunck, son Levi Blunck, son Hudson Blunck, Father Mark Blunck, brother Curtis Blunck, sister-in-law Victoria Blunck, sister Andrea Gray and brother-in-law Anthony Gray. Tony was proceeded in death by Mother Debbie Blunck.
