Anthony Alexander GordonAnthony Alexander Gordon was born May 23, 1980 in Tacoma, WA to Marcos Alexis and Phyllis Denise Gordon. He is the fourth of five children, Mickeal, Derek, Dewayne, Gregory and Alexis (who preceded him in death). Anthony, a family man, had a heart of gold and plenty of love for his family and friends. He was a loving, caring, and devoted father to Mickeal, Ayanna Heavenly, and Anthony Jr. He was loyal to his parents and a warrior for his family, and always came to their rescue, no questions asked. He will be remembered by family and friends for his kindness, generosity, being polite, considerate, helpful and loveable. He had a hard exterior but a heart of gold. He was compassionate to anyone who was in need. When he lived with his parents he would bring kids home who were in trouble or homeless for his parents to take care of. His home was open to anyone to stay as long as they wanted to and he fed anyone who was hungry.Anthony attended McCarver, Jason Lee and Lincoln High School. At Jason Lee he excelled in academics, an honor roll student and Six Grade Student Body President. He worked as a cashier at Walgreens Drug Store and for a short period of time at Democon Construction Company. Being a motivator and an organizer he had the mindset of an entrepreneur. He was Vice President of the non profit organization Road Rage Victims of America -- Knowledge Resulting in Understanding (RRVA KRU). He attended the MADD National Conference and traveled through out the state of Washington rapping and singing. He touched and impacted over 40, 000 Middle and High School Students. RRVA KRU crew was not singers or rappers until Anthony motivated and convinced them that they could do it! Anthony, the life of the party, had many interest and hobbies; basketball football wrestling, singing and writing to name a few. When writing songs and poetry his words were artistry. Heart of Gold and You are not an Accident had phenomenal impact on his family and friends.At an early age Anthony asked Jesus to be his savior. He was attending Shekinah Glory under the leadership of Apostle Eugene Satterwhite. Anthony departed this life Friday, January 4, 2008. He leaves to cherish his memory, three children; Mickeal, Ayanna Heavenly, and Anthony Jr.; parents, Marcos Alexis and Phyllis Denise, four brothers; Mickeal (Jennifer), Derek (Nicole), and Dewayne, Grandparents, Santiago and Carmen Sanquillen, Grandmother Juanita Steele, Great grandmother Louise Williams, six Aunties; Cheri Profit, Dawn Bryon, Velma Stewart, Maritza Chufingo, and Esabel Don'as, many cousins, nephews, nieces, and a host of friends.
