Anso Park Farkas, was born near Seoul Korea. She was one of 12 children. She married her husband Bob in Korea on February 20, 1970. They were happily married 43 years.
After she married her husband Bob he became her primary focus in life. The joy of their marriage was a model for all couples in love. She became an American citizen and stood proud as one!
Anso lived in Lakewood for 42 years, was a faithful member and supporter of St Frances Cabrini Parish. She was a member of the Catholic Daughters of America, a proud supporter of the Knights of Columbus activities and an advocate for children everywhere in the world. She was baptized by Fr Jim Coyne in 1992, after being a SFC parishioner for 20 years!
Anso was a joyful woman with a love of life. She had a huge sense of humor and loved to be around people. She teased and expected that you would too.
She liked tailored clothing, was a snappy dresser. She loved flowers, especially roses, enjoyed gardening and was pleased to eat food she had grown herself, especially her own tomatoes and cucumbers.
She was our friend and her presence and her smile will be missed.
