Annie L. Saulsberry
Annie “Laura” Saulsberry (Petty) was born April 2, 1949 to Bessie Will Jeffries Petty and Willie Tom Petty. She grew up in Tacoma, Washington, Hilltop area, where she attended Stadium High School. She was a beloved daughter, mother, sister, and grand mother.
Laura is survived by her daughter Ulondia Simnone Towery, sons William Saulsberry Jr. (Chris), and Shawn Saulsberry(Joanne); grandchildren Kaysha Petty, Evony Watkins-Petty, Curtis Towery (Jasztoni), Kevin Mathis, Alecia Towery, Cameron Saulsberry, and Chandler, along with eight great-grandchildren; her sisters Annie B. Mumford, Yvonne Robinson and brothers Willie Joe Petty, Lennie Petty, and Lonnie Petty, along with nine nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother, father, younger brother Don Petty, and her daughter Aretha Evonne Petty. She is forever loved, and will truly be missed.
Memorial services will be held 2:00 PM, Saturday, March 31, 2018 at Central Church of Christ on the corner of 14th & L in Tacoma, WA.
