Annie Monson's Obituary
Annie was born on February 15, 1906 in Edmore, ND to Ole and Helene Barstad. She passed away on August 4, 2008 in Tacoma, WA. In 1937 she married Alfred Monson and they lived and farmed in Grafton, ND for many years. They moved to Edmore, ND in 1949. At the age of 96, Annie moved to Tacoma, WA to live with her sister Mabel. She became a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church soon after. Annie was preceded in death by her husband Alfred (1981), brothers Emil, Henry, Albert, Clarence, Ingvald, and Orvin Barstad, and sister Sophia Rundhaug. She is survived by her sister Mabel Gartner and nieces Marlys Elliott and Carol Ameline. She will be laid to rest next to her husband in South Trinity Lutheran Church Cemetery in rural Grafton, ND.
