Anni Allen's Obituary
Anni Allen went to be with the Lord on 7 April 2008 after a short battle with cancer. Anni, a loving and giving wife, mother and grandmother, was born Anni Boellner on 9 May 1937 in Bamberg, Germany. She was preceded in death by her first husband Joseph Ernst and sisters Regina and Lotte. She is survived by Her husband of 30 years Frank Allen of Lakewood, one son Juergen Ernst (Helga) of Germany, two daughters Brigitte Gnech of Germany and Silke Leety (Scott) of Texas, one sister Walburga Schneiderbanger (Hans) of Germany, four grandsons Stefan Gnech, Andreas Gnech, Alexander Ernst, and Lukas Rippstein, and one great-grandson Niko, all of Germany. Anni was immediately liked by everyone she came in contact with. She was the most loving and giving person who always took pride in everything she did. She was so proud of her home and garden, but her greatest pride was in her children. She considered them her greatest accomplishment. We all love her so much and will miss her terribly. Her husband and family would like to thank our many friends and neighbors for their support and kindness. A Funeral Mass to celebrate Anni's life will be held at 10 a.m. on 14 April 2008 in the Garden Chapel at Mountain View Funeral Home; reception to follow.
