Anne Valentina Rector's Obituary
Anne Valentina Rector passed on to her Lord and Savior on April 29, 2005. She is survived by her adoring family; son Martin F Â"RexÂ" Rector Jr., his wife Marilyn, and grandchildren Brandi and Jesse. Anne was born in the little town of Isasca, Italy. Parents John and Mary Chiotti brought her over as an infant and settled in Wilkeson, WA. There she grew up with her beloved brother Joseph. She later attended Central Washington University and became a teacher; starting her career in Wilkeson and finishing in the Puyallup school system. Up to the very end of her life she corresponded with her former students, who loved her very much. She was married to Martin F. Â"RexÂ" Rector Sr. who passed away in 1975. They lived in the Tacoma-Puyallup area for many happy years. In 1994, Anne moved to Orting to be near her son and family, and spent the final years of her life in the home of her son and daughter-in-law. She was loved and admired by all who knew her. She will be remembered by her glowing, infectious smile and warm heart. She lived her life as the ultimate example of what a great wife, mother, and grandmother should be. The greatest joy of her life was her grandchildren, Brandi and Jesse. The loving influence she had on them is immeasurable and will last forever in their hearts. She had an extremely strong bond with her Daughter-in-Law Marilyn. They shared a true Â"Mother-DaughterÂ" relationship. The love and adoration between Anne and her son is beyond any words that can be written. Dear Mom, the long and winding road will always lead me back to your door. Thank you.The family would like to thank everyone who helped Anne and her family through her final years. Special thanks to Lee, Treva, Teresa, and Ed, her Â"secondÂ" son. Thank you for your special love and support. It will never be forgotten.AnneÂ's family appreciates & acknowledges everyoneÂ's love and concern but respectfully requests a private graveside service.
