Anne Marie Katterhagen, 78, of Tacoma, WA, passed away peacefully February 20, 2017, reuniting at last with her husband, Gale Katterhagen. She was born August 16, 1938 in Omaha, NB. She was the only girl, with a band of 3 brother Read Obituary
I had the pleasure of working on a number of events with Anne during our time together in the Catholic Woman's Club of Tacoma. She had just re-joined us some time after the passing of her husband. Anne dove right in, and in a short time had rekindled many friendships and made new ones along the way. I was a lucky and blessed member of the second, new friend group.
I will miss my conversations with Anne over the state and direction of our children/grandchildren, of healthcare and future of our Catholic Woman's Club that she would later preside over. She inspired us to be our best and to keep working hard for the disadvantaged. Thank you Anne, for your smile, your kind heart and bright, sharp eyes that never missed a beat! Pray for us as we will for you.
