Please know how sorry I was to hear of the passing of Anne. My own mother died less than a year ago---and it clearly doesn't matter how old YOU are...or how old SHE was: the pain and the loss is enormous.
Anne certainly left behind a wonderful family---her legacy, to be sure.

I'm sorry for your loss and feel a bit guilty for not making contact sooner.
Since reading the paper on Sunday I have been mulling the memories of Auntie Ann, Uncle Eric and you. They are many and rich yet I can't recollect when I saw you last. Such a shame. I hope to attend on Wednsday.
