Anna Marie Robbins' Obituary
Anna Marie Robbins, maiden name Blaum, was born October 5, 1935, in Germany and grew up in the small village of Enkenback-Alsenborn. Anna passed peacefully on July 14, 2020. Anna’s adventurous spirit lead her to take a few trips as a young woman to the United States. She was an incredibly passionate woman who decided to learn data processing in the early 1960’s while staying in the United States. She was extremely proud of her accomplishment and carried her certificate of completion in her wallet.
Anna immigrated to Washington state in the late 1960’s, officially settling down to raise her family. Anna’s passions included gardening and animals. Anna was active in the German club and enjoyed the camaraderie of the many social gatherings she attended. She developed close relationships with many of her clients from her house cleaning business due to her meticulous attention to detail.
Anna loved her family and especially her beloved Bichon, Boggy. Despite her strict demeanor, she was often seen dining with Boggy seated at the dining table where the two shared many meals together. Anna spent many hours tending to her yard and flowers because it was a labor of love for her. Anna gravitated to any baby she saw and would instantly transform to Oma.
Anna is survived by her children Angelika Budnick, Jessica Jones, John Robbins Jr, Cindy Schlenker and her grandchildren: Michelle, Crystal, Nicholas, Cindy, Amy, Kristina, Heather, and Joseph as well as 14 great grandchildren. Anna is also survived by her best friend, Inge.
The family is planning a private service. The family asks in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to the local humane society in her name.
