Ann Crowley's Obituary
Ann Crowley Died peacefully on April 24, 2008 after a long illness. Born in Balfour, ND, she attended college and beauty school in Minot, ND, and moved to Tacoma during WWII, where she worked as a welder in the shipyards. She met and married James Crowley in 1949 when they worked together as hairdressers at Rhodes department store, and spent 59 loving and happy years together. Although a private person, Ann was loved by all who knew her. She is survived by husband Jim, daughters Cassandra and Carla Crowley Earl (Michael), and granddaughter Geneva. A private celebration of her life will be held for family and friends on Tuesday, April 29. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to St. Patrick's Church, 1001 North J, Tacoma.
