Anita D. Budack's Obituary
Anita D. Budack, who always had a quick wit and great laugh passed away on January 3, 2018 at the age of 89. On her final journey she was comforted by her son Robin; granddaughers Sherry Morris, Megan Loper and the wonderful staff at Hospice House. She was preceded in death by her parents William and Georgia Lessie Gregg, husband Edward Budack and nine siblings. She is survived by sisters Alma Cutler and Yvonna Gregg, daughter Linda, son Robin (Joyce), Jennifer (Ben), Robert; Chuck (Rose), grandchildren Bridgette, David, Mark, Mike, Sherry, Paul and Charlotte and several great grandchildren, nephews and nieces. Anita was born in Ashatola, Texas on February 2, 1928, one of 12 children, the family moved to Tacoma in the 1940's, here she graduated from Fife High School. Always a working woman she found herself as a riveter at McDonald/Douglas in San Diego in the early 1960's; was the first female bartender in Washington at Scotties; waitress at Johnny's at the Mall and she retired from the WSLCB as an Assistant Manager. Anita was an avid gardener into her 80's and a Crafter. Welcoming family and friends to many occasions to enjoy her home and garden.
A Funeral Service celebrating the life of Anita will be held 1:30 pm, Saturday, January 13, 2018 in the Garden Chapel with Interment to follow at Mountain View Funeral Home and Memorial Park.
