Angelique Annette Westbrook's Obituary
Angelique Westbrook was born on October 13, 1953, in Farrell, Pennsylvania, to Paul and Shirley (Lola) Flint. She was the eldest of four daughters and grew up in a proud military family. Her childhood allowed her to see the world, including attending high school in Pusan, Korea, which led to experiences that shaped her love of life, family, and community.
On August 20, 2025, Angelique passed away unexpectedly, leaving behind a legacy of love, strength, and faith. Angelique was a true warrior. A cancer survivor, she faced each battle with courage, resilience, and unwavering faith. She was a devoted wife, a loving mother and grandmother, a caring auntie, a loyal sister, and a dear friend. She was married twice in her lifetime and is survived by her two biological children, Nicole (with Ronald Nealy) and Michael (with Louis Westbrook), as well as two stepchildren, Melanie and Louis. She was blessed with many grandchildren who brought her endless joy. She was especially close to her youngest sister, Qwanda, and cherished her family bonds above all else.
Angelique was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Shirley (Lola) Flint; her beloved husband, Louis Westbrook, Sr.; her grandchild, Mariah; and her niece, Keasha.
In addition to her devotion to family, Angelique built a distinguished professional career. She was a hardworking and dedicated woman who embodied excellence in every role she held. Throughout her career, she demonstrated unmatched commitment and professionalism, earning the respect of colleagues and the admiration of all who worked with her.
Angelique’s home was a gathering place filled with people, laughter, and love. She welcomed everyone with open arms, never letting anyone leave hungry, and giving her last if someone was in need. Her generosity and warmth touched countless lives.
Above all, Angelique had a deep love for God. Her faith anchored her through life’s challenges and gave her strength during her battles with cancer. She found joy in listening to gospel music, and she delighted in sharing motivational videos and inspirational quotes with her loved ones. She lifted others with her words, her spirit, and her unwavering belief in God’s grace.
She was a beautiful woman inside and out, known for her strength, work ethic, and devotion as a wife and mother. She truly loved life and the people who shared it with her.
In honoring her wishes, there will be no memorial service. Instead, her family asks that you remember her by treasuring the moments you shared with her, carrying forward her legacy of love, and continuing to support one another as she always did.
Instead of flowers, the family invites donations to the American Cancer Society in Angelique’s name, to honor her resilience and to help others fighting the disease she battled with grace.
