Angeline Veda Angeline's Obituary
Angeline Veda Angeline Â"AngieÂ" died peacefully in her own home on Sunday August 28, 2005 at the age of 95. Angie was preceded in death by her devoted husband of 64 years, Lawrence J. Angeline. Angie was born in Magrath, Alberta on January 7, 1910, and immigrated to the United States with her parents (Sam and Inez Pyrah) to South Hill Puyallup at the age of fourteen, and attended Puyallup High School. She met and married her husband Lawrence Joseph Angeline on June 29, 1927. Angie loved that fact that her first and last name were the same, as it drew much attention that so amused her. Lawrence and Angie lived in Enumclaw the first nine years of their marriage and moved to Tacoma in 1936. She enjoyed living the past sixty-nine years in their same home in South Tacoma. Her life revolved around her family and she deeply loved her five children: Lorraine (Dick) Lush, Ron Angeline, Myrna McCune, Vern Angeline, and Dennis (Darlene) Angeline. She also leaves behind her brother Darrel (Lois) Pyrah. She will be greatly missed and was loved by fourteen grandchildren, twenty-one great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Angie loved life and all it had to offer. During WWII she was proud to be a Â"Rosie the RiveterÂ" at Boeing. She also worked at St. Regis for several years. Angie was full of life, feisty to the end and nobody ever had to wonder about what she was thinking. She was truly a rare gem! She will be missed and never forgotten by family and friends. She will forever be alive in our hearts. For her family and friends who wish to celebrate her life there will be graveside services at 11:30 AM on Thursday, September 1, 2005 at Mountain View Memorial Park in Tacoma, WA.
