Angelina Vigo Pennington
Born to Angelo and Ines Vigo in Milano Italy, November 11, 1924 Angelina lived her beautiful life until 3 months before her 92nd birthday.
She met her lifelong husband Boykin B. Pennington who she renamed “Bobby” because she could not pronounce Boykin. They married in Italy in 1952. The military brought them to the United States in 1953 and Angelina spent her life as a military wife traveling the U.S. and Europe. During this time she worked at many various jobs to help support her family. Mom and Dad retired in Lakewood WA. When her husband passed early in life, Angelina then devoted herself as a homemaker and to enjoying family and friends.
Angelina was always there for her family, was kind and loving to her children and friends. Everyone who encountered Angelina always had good things to say of her, and enjoyed her perky since of humor. I will always remember when ever meeting someone I would be told how much my mother was liked. She will be greatly missed by all. Her spirit lives with us forever yet she is among the angels and is an angel with her own wings.
