I was saddened and suprised to hear of Angela's passing. We had just seen each other in September over Memorial Day Weekend at a gathering of girlfriends from Jr. High and High School. Angela was always a supportive compassionate person and I have only good memories of my friendship with her. When I married very early(at 19) she was so excited and supportive and was a faithful friend through all of the tragedies that have occured in my life. The last time I saw her she made a point to ask me how "I" was doing since losing my husband and son. I will never forget her and the conversations we shared when I would visit my Mom's church and see her. I pray a blessing and peace on her husband and children during a season of mourning....Just know God still has a plan for all of you and it is still his Plan A. I have known Angela for 26 years and worked with her for 13 years. She has been a dear friend whom I will miss and loved.
My heart and prayers go out to James, Colin and Alexis. I just want to share this with you.
You can shed tears that she is gone,
or you can smile because she has lived.
You can close your eyes and pray that she'll come back,
or you can open your eyes and see all she's left.
Your heart can be empty because you can't see her,
or you can be full with the love you shared.
You can turn your back on tomorrow and live yesterday,
or you can be happy for tomorrow because of yesterday.
You can remember her only that she is gone,
or you can cherish her memory and let it live on.
You can cry and close your mind, be empty and turn your back,
or you can do want she'd want:
Smile, open your eyes, love and go on.
In memory of Angela:
True friends are the ones who never leave your heart, even if they leave your life for a while. Even after years apart, you pick up with them right where you left off, and even if they die they're never dead in your heart.##imported-begin##Vivian Pope##imported-end##

James, Colin, and Alexa I just wanted to write and let you know how sorry I am for the pain you feel right now. And I want to encourage you to draw strength from Angela and live in the abundance of memories she left for you all. I cannot begin to comprehend the loss you feel, but I can say that Angela was my friend for many years, and I will miss her dearly. You have so many people praying for you and your family and it is my sincere prayer that you find comfort in knowing that and the fact that the Lord is always with you, go to him in prayer and he will renew your strength. With all the love in my heart, Your friend. Yolonda##imported-begin##Yolonda Williams, Tacoma WA##imported-end##

I would like to express my condolences to the family and friends of Angela Abney. I didn't know Angela but looking at her pic she reminds me so much of myself. What a lovely looking woman. I pray that all will be comforted with the many fond memories of Angela. I would like to share two scriptures that have sustained me during my many times of grief and mourning. "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away." And the One seated on the throne said: "Look! I am making all things new." Also, he says: "Write, because these words are faithful and true." - Revelation 21:4,5 "The righteous themselves will possess the earth, And they will reside forever upon it." - Psalm 37:29 Please remember that death is not the period (.) at the end of the sentence of life but a comma (,) a pause.##imported-begin##La Chelle Yates##imported-end##
