Andrew J. Sutich's Obituary
Andrew J. Sutich age 83 was born on May 5, 1919 to John and Louise Sutich in Mt. Iron, Minnesota. He passed away on Thursday December 19, 2002 in Gig Harbor, WA. He retired from Puget Sound National Bank as a Purchasing Officer and was preceded in death by his wife Maxine and by 2 granddaughters, Valerie Thurston and Nicole Sutich. Andrew is survived by 2 daughters; Kathleen Thurston (Buck) and Barbara Safford (Mike), 2 sons; Tom Sutich (Nita) and John Sutich (Sandy), 9 grandchildren; Fred Thurston, Thomas Thurston, Tom Sutich, Dan Sutich, Sharie (Sutich) Marquett, Michael Safford Jr., Erin Safford, Mark Sutich, Monica Sutich, 5 great-grandchildren; Scott Thurston, Angela Thurston, Trace Sutich, Hanah Sutich, Grace Marquett, 3 great-great-grandchildren; Matthew and Seth Thurston, and Lucas Ramey. The family would like the thank the staff and residents at Merrill Gardens of Gig Harbor and also the staff at Manor Care of Gig Harbor for the wonderful care dad received. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday December 24, 2002 at 11:00 AM at the Mt. View Garden Chapel with the U. S. Air Force Honors at graveside followed by a reception. Viewing will be on Monday December 23, 2002 at 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM. Memorial contributions can be made to the Franciscan Hospice Foundation, P.O. Box 1502, Tacoma, WA 98401.
