Andrew Charles Harry's Obituary
Andrew Charles O’Nell Harry is the 3rd child born to Johnnie and Louiza Harry on May 25, 1937. On Tuesday, August 30, 2016, God in his infinite wisdom, mercifully opened his doors to welcome Andrew home.
In 1955, Andrew graduated from Covington Rosenwall High School in Covington, Louisiana. After graduation, he joined the United States Army in 1956.
In 1957, he married Mary Lucille Jarrett and to this union came Joycelyn, Andrew Charles Jr., and Jarvis Harry (deceased).
In 1978, he welcomed his youngest daughter, Andrietta Harry , and stepson John Earl Young Jr. (children of Henrietta Young)
He is a member of Allen AME Church and Prince Hall Masonic Temple.
In addition to his parents, Andrew was preceded in death by his Son Jarvis, Sister Delores. Andrew is survived by his wife, Zoe, Two Daughters—Joycelyn Harry, Andrietta Harry; one son Andrew Harry Jr.; Six grandchildren---Leah Threats, Nicole Harry, Michael Antone, Charisma Wilson, Christina Harry, Quincy Young, Aaliyah Young, John Earl John II; Ten Great-Grandchildren—Corey, Cassius, Massiah, Levitius, Jasmine, Joseph, Journey, Jordynn, J’Lani, and Londynn; four stepsons—Daniel, Darryl, Kalani, and Kaleo; Brother Richard Harry and Sister Lula Mae Bacham; Stepsister Darlene Harry, Stepbrother Michael Harry, and a host of other family members.
Andrew loved to travel, loved his family, and loved life. He will be missed.
