Andrew Thomas Bostwick's Obituary
Andrew Thomas Bostwick, beloved son, brother, and friend, passed away on July 6, 2025, in his hometown of Tacoma, Washington, at the age of 21.
Born on November 7, 2003, in Tacoma, Andrew brought joy, laughter, and kindness to everyone who knew him. A proud graduate of Curtis High School, Andrew was a four-year varsity letterman in golf, where he not only showcased his athletic talent but also his sportsmanship and leadership. His passion for the game was matched by his dedication to inclusion—he was a committed partner in the Special Olympics Unified Sports program, where he earned a gold medal and numerous school awards for his contributions and compassion.
Andrew’s warmth and generosity extended beyond the golf course. He had a gift for making others feel seen and valued, and his presence was a source of strength and joy to his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his beloved Papa Jim and Grandma B, whose memories he cherished deeply.
Andrew is survived by his loving parents, Gregory Thomas Bostwick and Rose Woodring McGraw; his stepfather, Ryan McGraw; and his cherished sisters, Emmersyn and Ashlyn McGraw, all of University Place, Washington. His legacy of kindness, courage, and community spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. When attending his Celebration of Life you should come as you are, Andrew preferred laidback and casual.
