Andrea Marie Krasman Kiehl's Obituary
Andrea Marie Krasman Kiehl passed away on October 4, 2013, at home, in Lakewood, WA. She was born on February 24, 1943 in McKeesport, PA to Andrew and Louise (Rago) Krasman.
She received her early education at Divine Redeemer Academy in Elizabeth, PA, Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA and later in Tacoma at Prometheus College, Pacific Lutheran University and University of Puget Sound School of Law. Andrea was a Registered Nurse, held a Bachelor of Arts degree, a Master’s degree in Human Resources and a Doctorate in Jurisprudence.
Andrea was a Law Clerk and Co-Administrator of the ABLE Program for the Washington State Court of Appeals, Division II. She was a Nursing Consultant and Expert. Andrea was an instructor at Fort Steilacoom Community College (now Pierce Community College) Clover Park Vocational Technical College and Erie County Medical Center in Buffalo, N.Y..
She married Dr. Robert Kiehl on April 3, 1964 in Washington, PA.
Andrea is survived by her husband Dr. Robert Kiehl; daughter Dr. Erin Kiehl Pickett and her husband James of Berlin, CT; mother Louise of McKeesport, PA; brother Robert Krasman of White Oak, PA and grandchildren Morgan and James Pickett of Berlin, CT.
The family wishes to thank Dr. Birlenbach, Dr. Baker and their staff along with the staff of the Franciscan Hospice and Palliative Care.
A Memorial Mass will be held at 2pm, Wednesday, October 9, 2013 at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church in Lakewood, WA.
