Anders Dahl's Obituary
Anders Dahl Went to be with Jesus on March 16, 2014. He was born December 26, 1916 in Revik, Norway and came to the US in 1929 settling in Seabeck. In January 1940 he married Alice Remmen and moved to Tacoma where he lived the rest of his adult life. He first worked at Tacoma Boat, which was started by his older brother Haldor and brother-in-law Arne Strum and later at Woodlam for 30 years, and retired at age 65 as plant superintendant. He was a lifelong member of Life Center Church, formerly First Assembly of God on 12th and G Street. He is survived by his son Sid Dahl, daughters Gail Louden and Bonnie Cole, six grand children and eight great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held Monday, March 31st at Life Center, 1717 S. Union Ave., Tacoma at 11am. Memorials may be sent to Tacoma Rescue Mission in lieu of flowers.
