Amy B. Kitchen's Obituary
Amy, age 95, was a longtime resident of Tillicum. She passed away peacefully at home with her family. Amy was born in Tacoma on July 30, 1918 the daughter of Daniel and Edith Rankin. Amy is preceded in death by Cyril, her devoted husband of 79 years and her son Don. Amy was a very happy, loving, kind and caring Mother, Grandmother and great friend to all. She loved her children, 11 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren dearly. For 30 years Amy and Cyril had traveled in their motorhome to horseshoe tournaments. Anyone who met Amy loved her and her beautiful smile. This wonderful lady will be greatly missed. Amy is survived by sons Bill (Roeme), Ed (Sharon), daughter Edie Wintermute (Bud), daughter in law Rita and sister Charlotte Wright. Services will be at Mountain View Funeral Home in the Celebration of Life Center, Aspen Chapel, Saturday Oct. 26th, 2013 at 2:p.m. reception to follow. Viewing Friday Oct. 25th, 10:00am -5:00pm and Saturday Oct. 26th, 8:00am -12:00pm.
