Amy Gaye Hutson's Obituary
Amy Gaye (Pospical) Hutson returned to her Heavenly Father on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, at the age of 52. She and her husband John had happily resided in their Lakewood, Washington home for the past 11 years. They have been married for 15 years.
Amy was born in Provo, Utah on July 14, 1973 to her parents, Delsa G. Pospical & Max L. Pospical. Amy, along with her older sister Tanya and older brother Alex moved with her parents to Richland, Washington in 1974 where she was raised along with four more siblings, Teri, Jill, Thad, and Ashley.
Amy had worked as a Claims Adjustor for State Farm for the past 11 years. Her previous professional ventures included developing and running a family business growing up, an Admin on the Hanford Project, and Customer Service for a security company.
Talented in so many remarkable crafts and endeavors, Amy created custom handbags, jewelry, crocheting, sewing, horticulture, baking and being the best wife. She was also known by friends and family as a remarkable chef. Her joy was found in making a home with her dearly beloved husband. Gardening, crafting, and traveling with her sweetheart were her favorite activities. Amy was fiercely loyal and passionate about those she loved. She valued authenticity and genuine friendships.
Amy is survived by her sweetheart, John Hutson, stepdaughter Natasha Ladd, stepson Nicholas Hutson, and by her parents and siblings, along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins who will miss her terribly.
