Amelia Ann (Bellotti)'s Obituary
Amelia Ann (Bellotti) HaagÂ"ChubbinsÂ"Born December 22, 1936 in Seattle, Washington to Joseph and Florence Bellotti. She left us Tuesday, November 16, 2004 after a sudden illness, with her family at her side. Survived by her husband of 44 years, Kenneth Haag, daughter Michelle Roberts, son Bradley Haag, two grandchildren Nick and Michael Roberts, brother Joseph (Vickie) Bellotti, sister Marie Bellotti, sister-in-law Nancy Smith, aunt Eva Cooper and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. A believer in the value of learning, she devoted her career to education. She began as an elementary and preschool teacher. Later she served on the boards and as president of numerous local and state organizations for early childhood education. Before retiring she became a Director at Bates Technical College. She was devoted to her family and had many deep friendships some of which began in grade school and continued to the present time. She loved life and always had a smile on her face. We will all miss her more than words can express. A memorial service will be held in her honor on Tuesday, November 23, at 11am at Little Church on the Prairie, 6310 Motor Avenue SW, Lakewood, Washington. There will be a reception immediately following at Oakbrook Golf & Country Club, 8102 Zircon Drive SW.The family asks that in lieu of flowers contributions may be made in her name to a favorite charity.
