Aged 67 years
With deep love and heartfelt sorrow, we celebrate the life and legacy of our beloved husband, father,
grandfather, brother, and Aōaō, Aluese Tinomālū Fatialofa, who peacefully entered into eternal rest on
May 29, 2025, at the age of 67.
Born on May 11, 1958, in Lepa, Samoa, he was the cherished son of Fatialofa Alaifatu Aniga and Toli
Tuigamala Setefano. Tinomālū grew up in Western Samoa, spent most of his life in American Samoa, and
later resided in Seattle, Washington.
He was a devoted husband to Ofamanatu Lefai Fatialofa, and together they raised a family rooted in love,
faith, and service. He worked diligently all his life, providing for his āiga with unwavering commitment
and humility.
Tinomālū was a proud member and Aoao at Tukwila Voice of Christ Church, where he shared the Word of
God with sincerity and wisdom. His faith was steady, his service quiet but powerful, and his influence
lasting.
Outside of work and church, Tinomālū had a love for the simple joys of life:
He loved cricket, boxing, bingo and cheering for his favorite football team, Kansas City Chiefs. And most
of all, he found deep joy in spending time with his family, surrounded by the generations that brought him
pride and joy.
He is lovingly remembered by his children:

As the youngest of a large family, Tinomālū carried the wisdom of his elders with grace and humility. He
is preceded in death by many of his beloved siblings:

Though the youngest, Tinomālū lived as a spiritual elder, quiet in nature, strong in faith, and deeply
committed to his family and God. He was a teacher in word and in deed, a protector, a provider, and a
joyful presence in every room.
His laughter, strength, stories, and love will live on through the generations he leaves behind. We give
thanks for his life, and we honor the blessing he was to us all.
“For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the
Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord’s.” -Romans 14:8 (KJV
