Alta Marie Pomeroy's Obituary
Alta Marie Pomeroy,82, passed away April 29, 2013 in Tacoma, WA. She was born on May 17, 1930 to Frank and Velma (Cummings) Orrahood.
Alta will be fondly remembered for her skills in keeping a beautiful home, the best meals one could have and creating beautiful clothing as a seamstress. Her family will always cherish their Mother’s unconditional love.
She is survived by her children Vicki McEvoy, Debbi Olson and Steve (Patricia) Pomeroy; grandchildren Chris (Jen) Olson, Andrea Olson, Nick Olson and Jill (Aron) Beedle and 4 great-grandchildren. Alta was preceded in death by her Husband Wesley J. Pomeroy.
A memorial gathering will be held from 3pm to 6pm, Saturday, May 11, 2013 at Mountain View Funeral Home’s Celebration of Life Center Oak Room.
