Eric, myself, and our children, Bergen and Emalee are very sad about the passing of Alma. She poured into our lives building our sense of significance and value. She was the grandmother my children didn't have. She was like a mom to me after my mother passed. She always celebrated Emalee and Bergen's birthday by taking us out to the country club for a special celebration. Alma was so very generous to us. She encouraged us all the time. She always believed in me as a leader and told me I would go on to do great things. When I had a serious diagnosis, she went with me and held my hand while the doctor read the scans and x-rays to me. She prayed for me over the phone when I was sick and by the end of the week, I was completely well. Alma was an example to me of a strong woman who carried herself well, was classy, dressed well, and was ever so generous. She could command a room of people with her enthusiasm, energy, sparkling eyes full of kindness, and brilliant smile! She leaned into the Holy Spirit for divine guidance and direction all the time. She and Eric used to love talking about commercial fishing, since they both have backgrounds in that industry. At over 100 years old she was still emailing me, even just a couple of months ago. There is a big hole in our hearts with her passion which we just learned about this week. However we know she is in heaven and we will see her again! I thank her family for sharing her with us. I remember meeting her grandchildren at her home one day. Oh my! Such beautiful young adults - you are all blessed to have had such an amazing woman in your family. You are all loved! Eric, Ava, Bergen and Emalee Oleson.
