Alma Beem's Obituary
Alma E. Beem, 89, passed away Thursday, November 8, 2012. She was born on January 9, 1923 in San Francisco, California to Carl E. and Viola C. Mattson.
She and Albert L. Beem were married June 6, 1942. Together they raised five daughters; Susan (Ken) Anderson, Carol Rubin, Barbara Beem, Deborah Creaser, and Linda (Bud) Olmsted. She is also survived by a sister Barbara Campbell; eight grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Alma was a lifetime member of the Lewis Chapter Order of the Eastern Star and served as Worthy Matron, Secretary, Deputy Instructor, and Grand Representative to Minnesota. She was also a longtime League Bowler and secretary with “Young-Oldsters" at Bolero Lanes.
Viewing will be held from 1:00-9:00 PM Tuesday, November 13, 2012 at Mountain View Funeral Home. Services will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, November 14, 2012 at the Mountain View Valley Chapel.
