Allie Beatrice Koch's Obituary
Born February 15, 1914 to William Robert and Addie Eugenia (Speed) Ivory in Kerens, Texas; Mom passed away September 8, 2003 in Tacoma, WA. She and her husband Reuben moved to Tacoma in 1939 and she worked at Boeing as a riveter during WW II. They owned several businesses before his death in 1959. She worked as a retail clerk at the Stewart Shop until her retirement in 1976. In her younger days she liked to fish, hunt and go clam digging. She also liked to work in her yard and she loved to dance.She is survived by her children Beatrice (Herman) Hoffman of Tacoma, Kenneth Koch of Milwaukie, OR and Gary (Linda) Koch of Puyallup. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Steven (Sherry) Hoffman, Kimberle (Frank) Pollock, Nancy (James) Waterman, Kristine Koch, Claude Koch, Shawn Koch, Shannon (Koch) Appel, Kelly (Koch) Jones, Staci (Koch) Davison; 16 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great-grandchildren. A brother, Bristow Ivory, resides in Houston, Texas, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.Allie was preceded in death by her brothers, Robert and Albert Ivory.Visitation will be from 12:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M., Friday, September 12, 2003 at Mt. View Funeral Home.Funeral services will be at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, September 13, 2003 at the Mt. View Garden Chapel.
