Allen Roy Burnett's Obituary
Al Burnett passed away on December 5, 2002 at the age of 79. He was born in Tacoma on April 29, 1923 and lived here all of his life. He was married to Toby for 56 years.Al was a truck driver. He worked at Todd Ship Yards during the war. He was a partner in a logging truck business in the 40Â's. He worked for Delivery Service, Inter City Auto Freight and Harold LeMay. He retired in 1981.Al was a Teamster, Teamster President, Teamster Retirees Club member and President. He was a member of the Model-T Ford Club, Eagles and Eagles Travel Club. He was a Boy Scout Leader. He enjoyed traveling, camping and antique cars.He is survived by his loving wife, Toby of Tacoma, a son Lee (Hazel) Burnett ofCalifornia, daughters Pat (Mike) Kruckeberg of Gig Harbor, Jeanne Kovacs of GigHarbor, and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.Service will be Tuesday, December 10, 2002 at 12:00 P.M. in the Mountain View Garden Chapel.The family would like to thank Franscian Health Care Center and Hospice for their support and kindness during Allen's illness.
