Allen O. Ohlheiser's Obituary
Allen Orville Ohlheiser, 72, of Tacoma, WA passed away Saturday February 25, 2023. He was born September 1, 1950 in Langdon, North Dakota to Joyce and Orville Ohlheiser, who preceded him in death. Allen was a Vietnam Veteran and served twenty years in the United States Army. After leaving the service, he went on to complete his Master’s degree in Accounting, working in that field through retirement.
Allen leaves behind his wife of 32 years, Jane Ohlheiser; two adult children Kevin Ohlheiser and Teresa (Lawrence) Huster; Seven grandchildren: Amanda (Matt), Aaron, Zachary, Jonathan, Sarah (Atticus), Jacob and Christian; and six great-grandchildren: Joseph, Kayden, Kayleen, Analissa, Emmit, and Wynter. He also leaves behind seven siblings: Marcus (Brenda) Ohlheiser, Diane (Will) Albers, Debby (Ed) Benton, Donna (Dan) Gates, Larry (Rhonda) Ohlheiser, Loren (Susan) Ohlheiser, and Duane (Dawn) Ohlheiser; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews and friends.
Funeral Services will take place Friday April 21, 2023 at 11am in the Garden Chapel at Mountain View Funeral Home, 4100 Steilacoom Blvd. SW, Lakewood WA 98499. Graveside services will follow at 12:30pm.
Family and friends are invited to gather together to remember Allen after the services @ Living Way Foursquare Church; 8605 Washington Blvd. SW. Lakewood WA 98498. Food will be provided.
In lieu of flowers, you may make a donation to the Wounded Warriors Project (woundedwarriorsproject.org) in Allen’s name.
