Allen Paul Cottler's Obituary
Allen Paul Cottler 61 passed away unexpectedly on April 4, 2014 from a very short illness. Al was born in Tacoma, Washington where he lived his entire life until moving to Gig Harbor a few years ago. He attended Wilson High School and Washington State University before graduating from the University of Puget Sound where he worked after his graduation until his retirement. He was a member of Theta Xi fraternity, was an Eagle Scout and was active in scouting and Explorers for many years. Al was an active member of several local RV and camping clubs. He was preceded in death by his father Don and is survived by his mother Betty, brother Dave (wife Sue), his nephew Christopher (wife Stephanie) and his niece Kaitlyn Bate (husband Jon). There will be a potluck celebration of his life at the home of Dave & Sue Cottler at 20315 SE 39th Place, Sammamish, WA 98075 on Saturday April 12th at 2:00 p.m. This will be a time of fellowship and an opportunity to share our stories about one of the most well liked people we have ever had the pleasure of knowing. Al will be cremated with a private burial service beside his father at a later date.
