Allan Gould Emmons' Obituary
Allan G. (Bud) Emmons, 94 of Puyallup, passed away Wednesday February 4, 2015. Born in Seattle, Washington February 27, 1920, Bud retired as a telegrapher/tower man for the Burlington Northern (Northern Pacific) Railroad May 30, 1980 after more than 39 years of service. He was a WWII veteran having seen combat action in the Po River Valley of Northern Italy with the 91st Infantry Division. He was an active ham radio operator, a member of the Evergreen Chapter Morse Telegraph Club, the VFW and a lifetime member of Steilacoom Lodge #2, F&AM. Two spouses preceded him in death: Doreen M. Tone in 1995 and Frances Johnston in 2010. He is survived by his, wife Jeanne, son, Gary; 2 daughters, Janet and Kathleen; five grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
