Alicia Kannady's Obituary
A loving mother of four children and five grandchildren, passed away on December 19th, 2021 in Tacoma, Washington after a lifetime of fighting a chronic lung disease.
Alicia was born to Jack and Lorraine Kannady on February 6th, 1964 at Balboa Navy hospital in San Diego California. As a Navy brat, she got to experience beautiful parts of the world at a young age, dearly cherishing those memories.
Alicia loved her family with all of her heart. She especially appreciated the simple things in life, watching her Seahawks games, her kitty cats, a good movie night with big bowl of popcorn with her family, and even going out for long drive to enjoy new and beautiful scenery.
Alicia preceded in death, her mother, father and oldest daughter Kelly.
She leaves behind three daughters. Christina, Kimberly, and Samantha as well as her five young grandchildren; Anthony, Christopher, Nicklaus, Damien and Cheyanne. She also leaves behind her sister Linda, her beloved Kannady cousins, and many people who truly loved her.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Lung Association on Alicia's behalf. She would have loved to be able to change and improve the quality of a persons life, knowing how difficult life can be with such an illness.
Alicia will be dearly missed by her family. Her smile, laughter, and funny antics will forever live on in our hearts. She may be gone, but will never be forgotten.
