Alice Jean Windham's Obituary
Alice Jean Windham, 53, passed away on March 1, 2017 in Tacoma, WA, due to complications from Myotonic Dystrophy. She was born in Tacoma on July 5, 1963 to Glen Rual Brush and Ann Laurine (Cox) Brush.
After graduating from Woodrow Wilson High School in 1982, she worked in various telemarketing companies around the Tacoma area.
As a young girl, she enjoyed traveling and camping with the family around the Northwest, including several weeks every summer at the family’s lake cabin. When she was older she enjoyed spending time with family and friends for holidays and other events. Alice was married in 1997 to the love of her life, Tom Windham.
Alice is survived by her husband Tom, mother-in-law Gloria, sisters-in-law Dallas and Wilma, brother David Brush (Patricia), sister Lori Murphy, nephews Christopher Brush and Derek Murphy, nieces Tiffany and Kristine Brush and Kelsey Murphy, dear cousin Judy Lund and numerous other relatives. She was preceded in death by both of her parents, her brother Richard Brush, her brother-in-law Buck Murphy and her cousin Kathy Kitaj.
The family would like to thank Alice’s doctors and the staff at Tacoma General Hospital for her care during her final days. Please join the family for a Memorial on Saturday May 13, 2017, 11:00 a.m., at Mountain View Memorial Park.
