Alice Walker's Obituary
Alice Walker, born on June 15, 1953, passed away peacefully on March 30, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend whose kindness, strength, and love touched the lives of many.
Alice is survived by her beloved husband, Charles Walker; her daughters, Shanta, Charlie, Lizcha, and Jacqueline; her son, David; and her dear aunt, Renete. She also leaves behind a number of cherished brothers and sisters, Connie, Darlin, Eddie, Ross, Freddy, Susanne and Evelyn, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who will carry on her legacy of love and resilience.
Alice’s life was a testament to strength, compassion, faith, and unwavering dedication to family. She was a guiding light to those around her, always offering warmth, wisdom, and an open heart. Her presence will be deeply missed but forever remembered.
A celebration of Alice’s life will be held on April 18, 2025, 11:00am at Mountain View funeral home 4100 Steilacoom Blvd SW, Tacoma, WA 98499. The family welcomes all who knew and loved her to join in honoring her memory.
Her love and spirit will continue to shine through the generations she leaves behind.
