I am so sorry I was unable to make it over today to tell you in person how much Alice meant to our team in Bldg. 10 over at CPTC. She never failed to greet me with a big smile, help me keep our rooms looking great and scold me for working to much! We would laugh together many a night together about our feral cats and the raccoons that would occasionally invade the building. She put 110% into making our Bldg. 10 look its best and was always leant a helping hand. I am sorry for your loss and want you to know that she will be missed by many of us. For many years, I taught in Building 10 at Clover Park Technical College. I would so very often see Alice when I was working late. We would laugh about being comrades in arms. As I told her so many times, it was apparent how much pride she took in her work and what a quality employee she was because of how our building always looked its best under her careful care. Alice was a kind and compassionate woman with more than a touch of spunk -- my kind of woman. When my mother passed away, Alice had a beautiful plant waiting for me upon my return from winter break.

There are never enough or appropriate words in times of loss. But I will always remember Alice with respect and admiration. She was a truly beautiful woman.
