Alice R. Grover's Obituary
Alice passed away peacefully on January 29,2011 in Lakewood, Wa. She was born June 18, 1926 in Ellensburg, WA to parents Raymond and Mary Keen. She was preceded in death by husbands Theodore Riedle, Earl Shafer, and Art Grover.
While her children were growing up, Alice kept busy cooking, canning, sewing and gardening. The family also was a foster home for three children. In 1978 Alice and Earl moved to Sequim where Alice turned her sewing hobby into a business by opening a remnant and notion store. Later she would have a busy alterations business. She also loved to sew for her grandchildren.
She is survived by her son, Theodore(Susan) and daughter Teresa Henry along with grandchildren Eliesa, William, Allison, Holly, and Bryan. Special thanks to Paula and all for her care and compassion the last few years.
Memorial services will be held February 4 at 2:00pm in the Garden Chapel at Mt. View Funeral Home.
