Dear Charlene and Family, We wish to send our sympathy and love to you as you grieve the loss of your mother. We miss you here in Michigan Charlene and the ability to give you a hug at this time. My Mom, Mary Fitzgerald and her friend Terry Pineo wish to send their most heartfelt condolences to Alice's family. Mary and Terry both worked with Alice at UPS in the tunnels. Alice was a great person and fun to work with. We all ran into each other at Fred Meyers. Mom, Terry, and I all so very sorry to hear of her passing. We will remember her with a smile always. My condolences goes out to the family and many friends of Mrs. Erway.(we are always raised too speak to adults by their last name.)

I have fond memories of Mrs Erway which go all the way back to grade school. Mrs. Erway was like a second mom to me. I know I used to look forward when Mike or Pat would tell me that their mom had made some of her fabulous cinnamon rolls, I always seemed to appear on those days so I could mooch a cinnamon roll.
To the family, I thank you all for you kindness.

I entered this world in l932 when Aunt Alice (Uddie) was a mere 2 years old. We grew up more as brother and sister than Nephew and Aunt. She was quite possibly one of the most comical people I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. Looking through old photos with her in them you could see mischievous look in her eyes. We had the greatest times I can remember when we went to Honolulu, Hawaii with her and when she came through Albuquerque on the way back to Tacoma from Uncle Sidney's services in Texas. She had my daughters teach her the dance rage of that time "The Electric Slide" she was game for anything that was fun. We'll all miss her laugh, her love and her sense of humor. Aunt Alice (Uddie) will truly be missed; our little hearts were crushed when she moved to Washington and took our beloved "cousints" from us; but she and her kids were always a bright spot when they came to visit. I loved Aunt Alice with all my heart. She could make me laugh with just a "look" across the room. If I could've been there to ease her pain or help in any way I would have, just out of love.
