Alice L. Wallace Â"Miss AliceÂ"She passed away at her home June 18, 2003 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born March 13, 1931 in Portsmouth, VA.Her husband, Willie Wallace Jr., daughter Karen Mathis Lee, sisters Doris Brooks, and Mary Baker, and brother Albert Baker, preceded her in death. She is survived by her son, Vince Wallace of Newcastle, WA, sisters Odessa Cartwright of Philadelphia, PA, Mildred Â"ShirleyÂ" Davenport of Philadelphia, PA and Ora Piercy of Portsmouth, VA, niece Dolores Roberts of Philadelphia, PA and other nieces, nephews, and relatives.In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society. Viewing will be held on Monday, June 23, 2003 from 12-9pm at Mt. View Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Tuesday, June 24, 2003 in the Mt. View Valley Chapel. There will be no Masonic services prior to the funeral.
